Node.js / Vue.js (JavaScript)

We are Computer Rock, an international software company with headquarters based in Switzerland.

With offices in Belgrade, Zurich, Hamburg and Manchester we combine international perspective with local market insights while living by European values and diversity. We develop platforms and services for international customers with focus on Swiss, German and English markets.

This is a full-time position. Location: Belgrade or Remote

You are the right candidate for us if you have:

• 5+ years of experience programming
• Experience with Node.js back-end development, and/or
• Experience with front-end frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of database technologies, such as SQL or NoSQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Confident spoken and written English

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable code for products platform
• Collaborate with the product team to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
• Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in software engineering

Where are we based?

Our office building is located in Belgrade downtown, by the river Sava, meters away from Kalemegdan.

What does a selection process look like?

• We will contact only short-listed candidates.
• We optimized the process into just two interviews. It contains both HR and technical interview. The interview will take about an hour. If the interview goes well, as a last step, you will have an interview with a client.
