Given the recent success of other category owners such as Netflix and Spotify, it has been obvious that the “all you can eat” model with a fixed monthly fee exchanged for unlimited access to a curated catalogue is a strong bet.
When the founders of Mofibo succeeded in convincing the Danish publishers to join the wagon and try out this model on the Danish market, it was a question of hitting the ground running and assembling a coherent and strong solution within the required timeframe.
Computer Rock won the bidding round to conceptualise, design and develop the core product for iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android, and was asked to help design the logo and the marketing website.
A dream project meets the following criteria: 1) Building an innovative product from scratch 2) With the opportunity to redefine an industry 3) Being responsible for the full consumer-facing product – incl. UX, design, development. This is one of those rare projects and we were truly excited to get it under our cap.
From kick-off to submission, we spent only 2.5 months including everything. It was made possible by an extraordinary effort brought on evenly by project management, design, mobile (iOS, Android) and QA. We’re insanely proud that we were able to deliver an excellent product in this tight timeframe and credit both our skilled team and our highly adaptive setup.
The roadmap is clear from now on: The next rounds of features will add strong value to the solution and we look forward to joining forces with the new Mofibo organization to improve the product to the benefit of Mofibo subscribers.
