We now live in a world where consumers are connected to their devices of choice leaning forward to consume content when convenient and appropriate for them. Faced with this disrupted, fragmented and fluid global technology media landscape Vubiquity, the leading global provider of premium content services including TV & film video content licensing / aggregation, digital supply chain management and global distribution services looked to Computer Rock Ltd to provide them with a multi-tenanted “state of the art,” storefront. The brief was simple design, build and deliver an elegant storefront solution that allowed Vubiquity’s global customers, including cable & satellite broadcasters, telcos, mobile network operators, over-the-top service providers and global media companies to extend their reach to meet consumers’ connected content needs on their device of choice. The challenge was delivering this in 5 months to allow Vubiquity customers to deliver in 2016 an integrated customer viewing experience consistently across any fixed or mobile device of choice.
With a long pedigree in delivering for tier 1 global clients including Red Bull, DPD, Clear Channel, Daimler and others Computer Rock applied their agile consultative analysis and working closely with the Vubiquity sales, marketing and technical team designed, build and delivered a storefront solution appropriate for Vubiquity’s global client base. The Computer Rock storefront solution integrates seamlessly with the rigorous and industrial Vubiquity back end and covers SVOD, TVOD, EST and catch up TV. Designed, built and delivered in 5 months the storefront is fully adaptable to meet client requirements and integrated with the Vubiquity cloud technical solution meets tier 1 content provider’s rigorous DRM requirements.
