For Broker Insights, building for an AI-driven future meant getting those foundations right - creating a scalable way to collect, manage, understand and use growing volumes of commercial insurance data.

Broker Insights and Computer Rock came together around that mission: to deliver a scalable data pipeline and establish the technology foundations that would enable Broker Insights to move rapidly from data to AI and intelligence.

Approach

Three initiatives. One mission.

The programme brought together three interconnected initiatives. Together, they created an interconnected data foundation capable of supporting how data is collected, ingested, stored, structured, understood and ultimately used.

Data collection & ingestion

A new Data Wizard created a more structured and scalable approach to collecting and onboarding data into the Broker Insights ecosystem.

Semantic Modelling

A new semantic modelling capability added structure, context and meaning, creating a critical foundation for future LLM and AI capabilities.

Foundational Technology Layer

A new foundational technology layer provided scalable ingestion, processing and storage capabilities. Together, these created an interconnected foundation for how data is collected, structured, understood and used.

Building together - and transferring capability

The technology was only part of the story. Broker Insights and Computer Rock worked as one team across product, engineering, architecture and data, evolving solutions through shared understanding, testing and feedback.

Just as important was the transfer of knowledge and ownership. Rather than creating dependency, capability was progressively transitioned to Broker Insights.

The result was more than new technology - it was the transfer of capability. Broker Insights gained the foundations, knowledge and ownership to continue developing the platform and support the wider re-engineering of its business.

Creating readiness for AI

By combining scalable data collection, semantic modelling and modern technology, Broker Insights now has the foundations to deliver AI and intelligence solutions. The semantic capability connects data with LLM and AI capabilities, turning information into usable intelligence.

These foundations enable Broker Insights to move faster and take advantage of new AI opportunities as they emerge.
